teacup poodle – miniature poodle

The typical teacup poodle is any medium- to large-sized canine. When groomed to indicate dog standards the entire body is meant to give off a block appearance. It is approximately a similar length as the height on the withers. The skull is moderately rounded having a slight but particular stop. It includes a long, straight snout.

The dark, oval-shaped eyes are set somewhat far apart and they are black or dark brown. The ears hang towards the head and are long and smooth. Both the the front and back legs are usually in proportion with the size of the dog. The actual topline is level. The tail is defined and carried substantial. It is often docked to half its length or less to generate the dog look more balanced. Dewclaws could be removed.

The miniature poodle oval-shaped ft are rather small as well as the toes are arched. The coat is either curly or perhaps corded. It is available in all solid hues including black, violet, silver, gray, product, apricot, red, light, brown or café-au-lait. While it does not make the prepared show standard, several breeders are reproduction parti-colored Poodles. See grooming for several types of Poodle clips.
