I started Elite Auto Repair because my passions are fixing broken things, electronics and business management. Who knew that an auto repair shop was the right fit for me.
What kind of work does Elite Auto Repair do? What do your technicians do?
Repairing todayís vehicles is definitely challenging. Sure we get your typical maintenance repairs but cars and trucks are getting more and more complicated.
Gone are the days of “grease monkeys” working on cars. Today we have technicians that study wave forms and voltages generated by a multitude of sensors and electrical parts to figure out whatís wrong with cars. We have computers that talk to your car’s computer(s) to help diagnose problems.
It’s truly amazing to see the techs at our shop learning sophisticated diagnostic procedures to solve that strange noise or slight vibration that cars come in for.
My father owned a gas station and mechanic shop when was young. I believe I learned my work ethic from him. I was fortunate to earn extra money after school and on the weekends at the shop
I was the guy who pumped your gas, washed your windshield, topped off your fluids and set the pressure in your tires. It was “full service” in those days.
I didnít think I would be following his footsteps but I think things get “Baked” into you when youíre young. After college, and a period in corporate America, I decided that the challenge of owning my own small business felt like the right thing to do.
