Puggle Origins
The puggle originated in the United States in the 1980s. Many believe that the first Puggles were the result of an accidental breeding however; enthusiasts of this hybrid breed say that this was a planned breeding in hopes of creating a new dog breed. As the result of multigenerational breeding, puggles gained incredible popularity in the U.S. In 2005, it became the most widely owned crossbreed dog ever!
